Description

What to expect:

  • Your host will be there when you arrive to sign you in and give you a name tag and a small ticket to take to the bar for your first drink. If you don’t drink alcohol you can get two soft drinks with your ticket
  • The speed dating doesn’t start until everyone has arrived, so there will be some time to settle in. You can chat to other people, get a drink, use the bathroom, or have some quiet time
  • When everyone has arrived the host will welcome everyone and give instructions
  • You will start off sitting at the table number you were given when you arrived
  • You will have 7 minutes to talk to each person. A bell will ring at the end of each round
  • Women stay at the same table for the whole evening while men move to the next table each round.
  • You will have a form on which you record a tick if you would like to exchange details with the person you have just met.
  • If you are both keen, it’s a match and we will send you their email address the following evening so that you can keep in touch on your own terms.
